This is understandably one of the most common questions we get!
The easiest way to think about it is that both pocket monkii and MB2 work indoors and out with the right accessories, and we have everything you need to do so! Pocket monkii excels indoors and in travel while MB2 excels outdoors.
Uhhh...I still don't get it.
Pocket monkii has a single strap between the 2 handles. The strap is about 6 feet long. This makes pocket super fast and easy to set up, and easy to pack into a purse, backpack, even a pocket. But the short strap does limit the versatility a bit, making outdoor workouts a little harder unless you add our outdoor anchor accessory to gain some additional length. Pocket has an integrated door anchor included for easy indoor use. There are some moves that don't jive as well with pocket, like levers, muscle ups and other gymastics-types of moves. Because of the single-strap design, it just is really hard to get, and stay, between the handles. But monkiis do what they want to do, so if you can figure out a way, all the monkii power to you and send us some photos already!
MB2 thrives in the outdoors and extreme workouts! It has two completely independent straps, one for each handle. And each one of the straps is 14 feet long, giving you a lot of length to work with in almost any situation. Because of the two straps, this means you can do things like dips, levers, muscle ups and off-set pull ups easily (well, as easy as those moves can be!). But that 28 feet of webbing has to be managed, and can get a bit tangled, making indoor setup a little more tricky. Of course, you might be the kind of monkii that diligently rolls up the webbing each time. Don't tell anyone, but I'm not one of those monkiis. So I keep a set of each!
If you need to use MB2 on a door, you will need to pick up a Door Anchor Accessory. You can also use a hardware setup if you prefer, but make sure you know what you are doing or have a qualified person install it for you. And indoor, overhead setup also works, like a beam, pullup bar or gym rack.
